Swim Macon attains Bronze Level in Club Excellence for USA Swimming.
Clubs have been selected as Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal clubs according to the following parameters:
Gold Level: The top 20 point-scoring clubs eligible for the Gold level.
Silver Level: The remaining clubs ranked through #100 and not achieving Gold status.
Bronze Level: Clubs ranked #101 through #200 and not achieving Gold or Silver status.
The program recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to excellence in performance.
Swim Macon ranked 143rd out of all of the swim clubs in the nation
Swim Macon swimmers won 3 State Championships and placed 4th in Division 2 at the Senior State Championships. Declan Poorman won the Senior Mens 100 Freestyle and was second in the Mens 200 Freestyle. Caty Hulsey won the Womens 200 and 400 IM .

Thanks to all of the families that participated in the Poinsettia sale and those that assisted with it. If you think you sold more than 10 poinsettias, please let me know whether you want 2 movie passes or a percentage (50 %) taken off of your fundraising for this past quarter (fall) or the next quarter (winter). Once that is done, I will let you know how much was made off of it and put towards the balance of the tent, and who was the top seller.

Congratulations to all Swim Macon swimmers who competed in the Columbus swim meet. Swim Macon took home first place in overall team points.

Masters Swimming will start back Sept 6th. Coach Jos will be the Masters Coach and will be at all workouts to coach the Masters. The practice schedule will be as follows
M-W-F - 5:15 AM - 7:00 AM
M-W-F - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Note the above times may change due to demand
Registration for year round swimming will occur the week of September 12-16 at Northside pool for swimmers who have been swimming with the team.. Families may register at anytime, the new registration packets should be available by mid to end of next week. All swimmers should be registered for the fall season by 9/30/11.
