Jos Smith competed at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials this week. He posted a personal best in the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 51.33. He also swam the 50 Meter freestyle with a time of 23.44. We are very proud of his accomplishments and would like to say GOOD JOB!!

On July 12, 2008, Three Swim Macon master swimmers competed in the Open Water Swimming Championships in the 1K event. James Logan won his age group with a time of 19:22.0. Tana Selby won her age group with a time of 19:51.0, and Diane Raley came in second with a time of 22:17.0. It was a strong showing for Swim Macon.

- Thank you to all who participated in the Celebration swim on Saturday June 21st. The event was able to raise $20,000 towards Hospice House of Central Georgia. Swim Macon is proud to be part of that effort and will continue to support this annual event.
